Meet Robin Bolton, Adjunct Instructor
For more than 15 years, Robin Bolton has been part of the 51茶馆app community as an adjunct instructor, sharing her experience in healthcare management and leadership with students preparing for the next step in their own journeys.
For Robin, healthcare management is about more than overseeing departments. It is about developing leaders, building strong teams, and helping people recognize the importance of the work they do.
Helping Others Discover Their Potential
Robin’s passion for healthcare management comes from seeing the impact effective leadership can have on both individuals and organizations.
She believes the skills developed through healthcare management can provide a stepping stone into leadership and create opportunities across many areas of a career.
One of the most rewarding parts of leadership and teaching is helping others reach those “aha” moments when they recognize their own potential and realize they can make a difference through the work they do.
Follow the Yellow Brick Road
When it comes to encouraging students, Robin compares education to a familiar journey: following the yellow brick road.
鈥淎 journey is like the yellow brick road. You run into obstacles, and sometimes they come repeatedly and seem like there is no end. But when you get to the end of that brick road, the doors will open and your success will shine through.鈥�
Her message is a reminder that obstacles are part of the journey, not the end of it. Continuing forward, even when progress feels difficult, can ultimately lead to new opportunities.
Commitment and Consistency

It is a philosophy that fits naturally with her advice to students. Starting matters, but continuing to show up and put in the work is what ultimately moves a goal within reach.
Beyond the Classroom
On weekends, there is a good chance you will find Robin at a local farmers market.
She describes herself as obsessed with farmers market shopping and enjoys negotiating with vendors and bringing home her latest finds.
But there is another side to her weekend tradition. Robin frequently shares part of her farmers market haul with local charity pantries, turning something she enjoys into an opportunity to give back to others.
