51²è¹Ýapp and Lake Area Technical Institute Collaborate to Benefit Students
WATERTOWN, SOUTH DAKOTA – 51²è¹Ýapp (51²è¹Ýapp) announces that it has entered into an agreement with Lake Area Technical Institute (LATI). The agreement offers LATI students, graduates, and full-time staff the opportunity to transfer qualified credits from LATI to 51²è¹Ýapp.
LATI students are eligible for the new 51²è¹Ýapp Tuition Advantage when they enroll in an undergraduate program at 51²è¹Ýapp. This allows certain undergraduate students to reduce the cost of tuition. Under the 51²è¹Ýapp Tuition Advantage, flat rate tuitions are based on the number of credit hours a student takes per quarter and includes all fees, with some exceptions. Under the agreement, 51²è¹Ýapp will also provide a tuition discount for LATI students, graduates, and full-time staff who enroll in 51²è¹Ýapp master’s programs.
“Our goal is for students to continue receiving quality education while earning a degree at an accelerated pace and a lower tuition rate,” says Dr. Ronald Shape, President and CEO of 51²è¹Ýapp. “Our success and our commitment to students over the past 75 years are rooted in the belief that quality educational opportunities should be available to anyone who desires them.”
Both 51²è¹Ýapp and Lake Area Technical Institute offer quality educational programs and are dedicated to serving students of diverse populations. This agreement enhances the educational opportunities available to students, graduates, and full-time staff at LATI by allowing them to continue their education at 51²è¹Ýapp.
51²è¹Ýapp has been providing technical and professional career education since 1941. 51²è¹Ýapp opened its first campus in Rapid City, South Dakota, and has since grown to multiple locations throughout the United States.
